to join our Mumbai-based CA firm. The candidate will be responsible for independently handling statutory audits of listed and unlisted companies across various industries. This role involves managing audit teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end statutory audits in accordance with applicable audit standards (ICAI, IND AS, IFRS).
Plan, execute, and finalize audit assignments for clients in various sectors (manufacturing, services, trading, NBFCs, etc.).
Supervise and review the work of junior audit staff and article trainees.
Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies accordingly.
Ensure timely completion of audits, with proper documentation and working papers.
Review and finalize financial statements and audit reports.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to clients.
Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Accounting Standards, and other regulatory requirements.
Stay updated on changes in accounting, auditing, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with partners for review and final delivery.
Requirements:
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience.
Proven experience in handling statutory audits independently.
Sound knowledge of IND AS, IFRS, Companies Act, and Audit Standards.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and audit tools.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Experience with listed companies, NBFCs, or group audits is a plus.
