We are hiring a Chartered Accountant/ Sr. Accountant to take complete ownership of the company's financial governance, statutory compliance, and control framework. This role is above the Senior Accountant level and requires a strategic professional who will guide, review, and control all finance-related activities rather than performing routine accounting work.
Key Responsibilities
Overall ownership of financial compliance, taxation strategy, and statutory governance
Review, validate, and approve accounting work performed by the Senior Accountant and finance team
Final responsibility for GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits, and regulatory filings
Lead statutory audits, tax audits, and departmental assessments
Act as the single point of contact for auditors, tax consultants, banks, and statutory authorities
Provide strategic guidance on tax planning, risk mitigation, and compliance optimization
Monitor financial health, cash flow, and receivables at management decision level
Handle escalations for critical client payment issues and high-value recoveries
Advise management on financial controls, policies, and governance improvements
