Chartered Accountant with US Experience
Job Summary: A Chartered Accountant at Frontpoint Health Global Private Limited is responsible for handling the full spectrum of U.S. accounting functions. This includes managing journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end and quarter-end closing activities, financial reporting, and resolving discrepancies. The position plays a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and timely financial reporting to support business decisions and audits.
The role also involves supporting the integration of newly acquired entities into financial systems and working closely with U.S.-based teams to maintain smooth financial operations.
Role: Accountant I
Responsibilities:
As part of the finance team, the Accountant I will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of U.S. accounting operations, including but not limited to:
Preparing accurate journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
Generating and analyzing key financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements
Supporting the integration of newly acquired entities into financial systems
Investigating and correcting errors in financial documentation and reporting
Ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal financial policies
Participating in monthly and quarterly close processes, including audit preparation
Assisting with financial system improvements and process automation
Collaborating with U.S.-based teams to ensure timely and accurate financial operations
Taking ownership of special accounting projects assigned by finance leadership
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification - Mandatory
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience Required:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Prior hands-on experience in managing the end-to-end U.S. accounting process - Mandatory
Exposure to public accounting environments is a plus
Proven experience in journal entries, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, month-end/quarter-end close, and financial reporting
Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting standards
Proficient in accounting tools and ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage preferred)
Ability to manage the entire accounting cycle with accuracy and minimal supervision
Skilled in identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies and variances
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with U.S.-based teams
Self-driven, accountable, and capable of working in a remote setup
Strong organizational and time management skills with a problem-solving mindset

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
