Key Responsibilities of a Chartered Accountant

Financial Accounting & Reporting

Prepare and maintain financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow). Ensure compliance with accounting standards Analyze financial data to support business decisions.

Audit & Assurance

Plan and conduct internal and external audits. Ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations. Identify risks and provide recommendations for improvements.
3.

Taxation

Prepare and file tax returns for individuals or companies. Advise on tax planning and compliance. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and their implications.
4.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Develop annual budgets and monitor spending. Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted figures. Assist in financial forecasting and strategic planning.
5.

Cost Management

Analyze cost structures and recommend efficiency improvements. Implement cost control measures. Support pricing strategies based on cost analysis.
6.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

Design and implement effective internal controls. Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
7.

Advisory & Consultancy

Provide financial advice on mergers, acquisitions, investments, etc. Help with restructuring, business planning, and performance improvement. Offer insights to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory financial requirements. Liaise with regulatory authorities (e.g., tax authorities, financial reporting bodies).
9.

Team Management & Training

(in senior roles)

Lead and mentor junior accountants or audit staff. Review work for accuracy and compliance. Conduct training sessions on accounting practices and updates.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
