Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Analyst (CA - Entry Level) located in Mumbai. We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (Entry Level) to join our finance team. The candidate will play a key role in managing and analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate compliance with tax regulations, and maintaining clear financial reporting for management review.

Roles and responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards. Perform detailed financial analysis to support business decisions. Present reports with insights, trends, and variance analyses for management review. Assist in consolidation of financial statements across multiple business units.

2. Taxation & Compliance

Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns. Review tax calculations, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Stay updated with changes in taxation laws and ensure full regulatory compliance. Assist in tax planning and optimization within permissible frameworks.

3. Audit & Internal Controls

Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and tax audits. Prepare audit documentation, schedules, and reconciliations. Identify process gaps and strengthen internal control systems. Support implementation of SOPs for financial accuracy and control.

B 4. Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight

Review vendor invoices, payment cycles, and ensure proper documentation. Monitor client receivables with coordination from the sales team. Approve reconciliations, ageing reports, and payment recommendations. Ensure financial accuracy and adherence to company payment policies.

5. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

Assist in creating annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Track actual performance against budgets and analyze variances. Provide financial insights to support cost optimization and profitability. Support long-term financial strategy and decision-making.

6. Financial Systems & Process Improvement

Work with HR, operations, and sales teams for cross-functional financial processes. Suggest improvements in workflows, reporting formats, and documentation. Ensure adherence to financial SOPs and contribute to new process development. Support implementation of digital tools and accounting automation.

Qualifications

Qualified

Chartered Accountant (CA)

- freshly qualified or 0-1 year experience. Strong academic background in finance, accounting, or related fields. Understanding of Indian GAAP, taxation laws, audit processes, and compliance standards.

Skills

Excellent analytical and numerical ability. Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and financial management tools. Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting frameworks. Attention to detail with high accuracy in financial documentation. Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines. Strong communication and coordination skills. Proactive approach towards identifying process improvements. Must be comfortable working both independently and with cross-functional teams (HR, Sales, Operations).

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
