- Chartered Accountant (CA)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and ethically driven Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee the financial health, compliance, and strategic accounting functions of SEWAS Federation and its allied initiatives (TV Channel, Network, Awards, and Welfare Projects). The CA will ensure that the organization's financial practices align not only with statutory requirements but also with the Jain philosophy of integrity, transparency, and non-violence in business (Ahimsa & Satya).

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Reporting:

Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements as per statutory requirements.

Maintain transparent records for SEWAS Federation, SEWAS Network Ltd., and associated spiritual/welfare trusts.

Present periodic financial reports to management and board.

2. Compliance & Regulatory:

Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, FCRA (if applicable for donations), and NGO-related financial guidelines.

Liaise with auditors, regulators, and tax authorities.

Maintain SEWAS Book of Records and Awards-related financial accountability

3. Budgeting & Forecasting:

Develop annual budgets for SEWAS projects, events, TV operations, and federated activities.

Track actuals vs. budget, ensuring optimal resource utilization.

Support expansion across Indian states and international units

4. Fund Management & Grants:

Oversee donor contributions, grants, and sponsorships.

Ensure ethical fund allocation to welfare, education, health, and environmental initiatives inspired by Jain values.

Prepare financial reports for stakeholders and government bodies.

5. Internal Controls & Risk Management:

Establish internal controls for fraud prevention and financial discipline.

Implement risk management strategies for sustainability of SEWAS projects.

6. Special Projects:

Support SEWAS TV Channel and Digital Media in financial planning

Manage costs and financial compliance of large-scale SEWAS events, banners, and campaigns.

Maintain structured reporting for the SEWAS Awards and World Records recognition.

Qualifications & Skills

Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid ICAI membership.

3-5 years of post-qualification experience (preferably in NGOs, religious trusts, or media organizations).

Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, taxation, and auditing.

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP/Oracle/SAP).

Ethical, detail-oriented, and aligned with Jain principles of truth, non-violence, and integrity.

Excellent communication and reporting skills in English and Gujarati/Hindi preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
