Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Accounting
? Maintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards (IND AS).
? Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
? Conduct project-wise cost analysis and profitability tracking. Budgeting & Cost Control
? Prepare and monitor budgets for construction projects.
? Analyze cost overruns and variances; implement cost control measures.
? Coordinate with project managers for resource planning and expense tracking. Audit & Compliance
? Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
? Ensure compliance with all statutory laws including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.
? Handle ROC filings and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies. Taxation
? File GST, TDS, and income tax returns. ? Handle tax assessments, appeals, and queries from authorities.
? Ensure optimized tax planning for the company. MIS & Reporting
? Generate regular MIS reports for management, highlighting key financial metrics. ? Track receivables/payables and support cash flow management.
? Support funding proposals and liaise with banks/financial institutions. Project Finance Support
? Assist in the evaluation of project proposals from a financial perspective.
? Monitor project funding utilization and prepare reports for lenders. Qualifications & Requirements:
? Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
? 3-8 years of experience, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry
? Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance
? Proficient in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, or similar)
? Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
? Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
