Job title: Chartered Accountant (CA)

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of internal audit experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in evaluating internal controls, risk management, and compliance in a corporate environment similar to JHS & Associates.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed financial and operational audits across company functions. Evaluate and strengthen internal control systems and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Identify risks, investigate discrepancies, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks. Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations to senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors to ensure effective risk management and regulatory compliance. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on remedial actions. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, compliance laws, and best practices in internal auditing.

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) certification (mandatory). Minimum 5 years of relevant internal audit experience in a corporate setting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in audit planning, risk assessment, financial reporting, and use of accounting/audit software (e.g., Excel, SAP). Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
