We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage and oversee the financial operations of our dynamic events and hospitality company. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting, tax, budgeting, and compliance, with the ability to navigate the unique financial nuances of the events and hospitality sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Maintain internal financial controls and ensure accurate reporting.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Prepare budgets for various events and hospitality operations.
Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast financial outcomes.
Assist department heads with financial planning.
Taxation & Compliance:
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
Handle audits (internal, statutory, and tax) and liaise with auditors and consultants.
Stay updated with tax regulations and implications relevant to the industry.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Oversee vendor and client invoicing, reconciliations, and payment schedules.
Monitor cash flows and manage working capital requirements.
Cost Control & Profitability:
Track and control costs associated with events, catering, and hospitality services.
Conduct cost-benefit analysis for new projects and events.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, licensing, and insurance requirements relevant to events and hospitality.
Implement risk management processes to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications & Skills:
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is
mandatory
.
3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in events, hospitality, or service-oriented industries.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems).
Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws and compliance standards.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
Experience working with event budgeting, sponsorship accounting, and hospitality cost centers.
Knowledge of international accounting standards (if dealing with overseas clients/vendors).
