Position Title: Chartered Accountant

Location: Bangalore

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports To: CFO / Finance Head / Director

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience. Candidates must have mandatory

experience in a Private Limited Company

. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, statutory compliance, accounting, taxation, and reporting. The role requires strong expertise in the pharma or manufacturing industry, including regulatory compliance and financial analysis..

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Reporting

Manage end-to-end accounting (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets).

Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

Ensure compliance with Ind AS / IFRS and statutory audit requirements.

Oversee MIS reporting for management review and decision-making.

Taxation & Compliance

Ensure timely filing of Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and other statutory returns.

Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.

Handle transfer pricing, SEZ, STPI, and export-import compliance.

Stay updated on changes in tax laws, corporate laws.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Manage working capital including receivables, payables, and inventory financing.

Liaise with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for loans, credit facilities, and foreign remittances.

Ensure effective treasury management and fund flow optimization.

Audit, Risk & Controls & Business Support

Implement internal controls and SOPs across finance functions.

Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.

Provide financial insights and analysis to management for strategic planning.

Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure financial discipline.

Qualifications & Requirements

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector. [Candidates must have mandatory experience in a Private Limited Company]

Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (Ind AS/IFRS), Companies Act, Direct & Indirect Taxation, and FEMA.

Proficiency in ERP platforms (SAP / Oracle / Tally) and MS Excel / Power BI for reporting.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience in pharma costing models (Formulation / API manufacturing).

Knowledge of international taxation and export compliance.

Ability to lead and mentor junior accountants.

Strong ethics, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.
