We are seeking a seasoned Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in international finance operations and treasury management. This strategic role involves overseeing foreign exchange risk, derivatives, cross-border transactions, and banking relationships. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in global financial instruments and regulatory compliance, contributing to the company's financial stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Foreign Exchange & Treasury Management
a. Design and implement hedging strategies to mitigate foreign exchange risk.
b. Monitor currency trends and advise on optimal FX conversion timing.
c. Manage derivative instruments including forwards, options, and swaps.
2. International Financial Transactions
a. Oversee inward and outward remittances in compliance with FEMA and RBI regulations.
b. Handle cross-border fund transfers, settlements, and reconciliations.
c. Coordinate international investments and returns with global partners.
3. Banking & Financial Institution Relations
a. Cultivate and maintain relationships with domestic and international banks.
b. Negotiate forex rates, bank charges, and credit facilities.
c. Manage issuance and closure of Letters of Credit (LCs) and related documentation.
4. Compliance & Reporting
a. Ensure adherence to international financial laws, FEMA guidelines, and internal policies.
b. Prepare reports on forex exposure, investment performance, and remittance summaries.
c. Collaborate with statutory auditors and consultants on international transactions.
Key Requirements:
1. Must-Have Qualifications
a. Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-7 years of post-qualification experience.
b. Proven experience in hedging, forex, derivatives, and international banking operations.
c. Strong knowledge of FEMA, RBI regulations, and global finance practices.
2. Preferred Skills
a. Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, ERP systems, and treasury management tools.
b. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
