Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with hands-on experience in accounting, operational finance, and compliance to manage day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing internal controls, and supporting operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and oversee daily accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, Bank Reconciliation). Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable with vendors and clients. Monitor cash flows, working capital, and budgeting in coordination with operations team. Support inventory and procurement reconciliation with accounting systems. Coordinate monthly/quarterly/annual closing activities. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings). Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks. Implement and improve internal controls and process automation in accounting and operations. Generate MIS reports and support management with business insights. Support ERP/accounting software implementation or process upgrades.

Required Skills:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification - mandatory. Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards and statutory compliances. Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / SAP (as applicable). Good Excel and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with operations and procurement teams. Experience in a startup, SME, or manufacturing/service company is preferred.

Nice to Have:

Experience in handling payroll, vendor contracts, and cost optimization. Exposure to ERP system implementation or customization. Working knowledge of GST returns filing portals and TDS compliance.
