We are seeking a qualified chartered accountant with extensive experience to lead a team of accountants. The chartered accountant is responsible for implementing accounting systems and processes, preparing monthly financial reports, controlling the master data of the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with the state revenue service.
To be successful as a chartered accountant, you should possess a stable working track record, excellent oral and written communication skills, and be highly knowledgeable in the broad spectrum of accounting practices. You should also be certified and accredited with the relevant association and governing body.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Reporting:
Oversee the duties of the accounting team.
Implement accounting systems and processes.
Reconcile income statements.
Prepare monthly financial reports.
Control the master data of the general register.
Review and release online banking payments.
Ensure compliance with the state revenue service.
Provide ongoing accounting and reporting support.
Manage the full financial process.
Prepare an expense budget report.
Auditing & Compliance:
Conduct internal and statutory audits.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate laws.
Prepare audit reports and identify process improvements.
Taxation:
Prepare and file GST and Income Tax returns.
Assist in tax audits.
Manage tax assessments and liaise with tax authorities.
Financial Analysis:
Analyse financial data for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide insights for financial planning and strategy.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Manage invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
Ensure timely collection of receivables and accurate payment of liabilities.
Qualification:
Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant
Experience: 3-5 Years
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and taxation laws.
Hands-on experience with GST, Income Tax filings, and Tax Audits.
Familiarity with Tally, SAP, or other ERP systems.
Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Good understanding of auditing procedures and compliance regulations.
