We're looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to take full ownership of our internal accounting, financial controls, and statutory compliance. The role demands strong technical knowledge, discipline in process creation, and a proactive approach to identifying errors before they escalate. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate books across multiple internal entities, ensuring compliance, and conducting regular internal audits. You will also coordinate closely with our external CA firm for statutory filings and finalisation of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting for the company and internal sister concerns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Conduct regular internal financial audits to detect and prevent errors, misclassifications, and missing entries.
Establish structured accounting processes and controls to reduce recurring mistakes and improve data integrity.
Monitor stock-related accounting, valuation, consumption tracking, and reconciliation, especially given high-volume movement.
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESI, and ROC obligations.
Prepare and maintain schedules, reconciliations, ledgers, and documentation required for monthly and annual closing.
Coordinate with the external CA for:
- Books finalisation- GST and TDS filings- Income tax returns- Balance Sheet and P&L preparation- Statutory audit queries
Identify gaps, highlight financial risks, and suggest corrective actions and preventive measures.
Support management with accurate MIS, financial insights, and process improvements.
Maintain proper documentation and compliance registers for all statutory matters.

Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong grounding in accounting standards and taxation.
2-6 years of experience in accounting, audit, or compliance roles (industry experience preferred).
Solid understanding of GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, Companies Act requirements, and other statutory norms for private limited companies.
Strong skills in Tally Prime, MS Excel, reconciliations, and audit processes.
Ability to handle large volumes of transactions and stock-related complexities.
Process-driven mindset with the discipline to enforce controls across a 70+ member organization.
Clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to provide practical, actionable advice.
