Role Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in audit, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial advisory. The CA will manage client portfolios, lead audits, ensure timely filings, and provide actionable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead
statutory, internal, and tax audits
for corporate and non-corporate clients, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and regulatory frameworks.
Oversee
finalization of financial statements
, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, cash flow statements, and notes to accounts.
Ensure compliance with all
taxation laws
--including
GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Professional Tax
--and manage timely filing of statutory returns.
Review and supervise the work of
junior accountants and article trainees
, providing guidance, review, and mentorship to ensure quality deliverables.
Manage and review
general ledger accounting
, trial balances, reconciliations, and journal entries for accuracy and completeness.
Provide
tax planning and advisory support
to clients, identifying opportunities for optimization within the regulatory framework.
Conduct
financial analysis, ratio analysis, and management reporting
to assess business performance and recommend improvements.
Coordinate and liaise with
statutory auditors, clients, banks, and government departments
for compliance and audit-related matters.
Handle
assessment proceedings, scrutiny notices, and representations
before tax authorities (Income Tax, GST, ROC, etc.).
Develop and implement
internal control systems
and risk management procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
Review
GST reconciliation
,
Input Tax Credit (ITC)
adjustments, and address any compliance discrepancies.
Prepare
cash flow forecasts
, working capital analysis, and assist clients with financial planning and funding documentation.
Stay abreast of changes in
Income Tax laws, GST amendments, and Accounting Standards (IND-AS)
, ensuring timely application within the firm's processes.
Contribute to
practice development
, client relationship management, and operational excellence initiatives within the firm.
Uphold confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in all client communications and financial documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in audit, taxation, and financial management.
In-depth knowledge of
