About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Chartered Accountant (CA) who can independently manage financial planning, budgeting, project estimations, DPRs, audits, banking, and stakeholder coordination for our hydroponics and agri-tech projects. This role demands a strong understanding of project-based financial modeling, costing, and long-term business projections alongside regular accounting and compliance functions.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Financial Management

Prepare and manage

project budgets, costing, estimations, BOQs and DPRs

for hydroponics and related agri projects. Build

financial projections, feasibility reports, and ROI models

for new and ongoing projects. Monitor

project profitability, financial leakage, cash flow, working capital, and cost optimization

. Coordinate with project managers, procurement, vendors, and operations to ensure alignment with financial plans. Track project progress vs. budget and provide variance reports + corrective insights.

Accounting & Compliance

Handle accounting, reconciliations, financial statements, MIS, and reporting. Oversee compliance of GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory requirements. Support & coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits.

Banking, Funding & Approvals

Prepare documents for

bank loans, credit facilities, subsidies, and financial approvals

. Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and external consultants for funding requirements. Prepare feasibility-based submissions for lending institutions.

Financial Strategy & Controls

Provide financial insights for decision-making, scaling strategy, and risk management. Develop internal controls and SOPs for finance, procurement, and project execution. Maintain financial discipline across departments by setting financial systems & checkpoints.

Internal & External Coordination

Coordinate with outsourced CA/consultant team for taxation, filings, and compliance deliverables. Work cross-functionally with

projects, R&D, procurement, HR, sales, and leadership teams

. Support management with MIS dashboards, reporting, and investor / board materials when required.

Qualifications & Skills

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) -- 1-7 years experience preferred. Experience in project-based industries (agri-tech, infra, EPC, construction, manufacturing, etc.) is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, financial modeling, and compliance. Proficiency in Excel + accounting software + costing tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
