The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring statutory compliance, managing audits, handling taxation, and providing financial insights for strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and in-depth knowledge of accounting standards and laws.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory laws, and regulatory requirements.
Handle direct and indirect taxation including GST, TDS, and Income Tax matters.
Conduct statutory, internal, and tax audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Develop and implement financial controls, systems, and processes.
Monitor cash flow, financial planning, and working capital management.
Provide strategic advice on cost management, investments, and financial growth.
Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
Support in mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring processes.
Advise management on risk assessment, corporate governance, and compliance.
Present financial insights, MIS reports, and forecasts to management.
Qualifications & Skills
Chartered Accountant (CA) /CMA qualification (mandatory).
Proven experience in accounting, taxation, and auditing.
Strong knowledge of corporate laws, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, SAP, or similar).
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial modeling.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
