Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Chartered Accountant to lead advanced financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, manage financial risk, and drive strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee complex financial functions at an organizational level.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Strategy & Planning



Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting. Provide strategic financial insights for business expansion, investments, and cost optimisation. Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis for strategic decision-making.

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance



Oversee accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and regulatory norms. Ensure timely and error-free statutory filings including GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other regulatory submissions. Liaise with auditors (internal, statutory, and tax) and ensure smooth completion of audits.

3. Taxation & Regulatory Management



Manage direct and indirect tax planning, compliance, assessments, and litigation matters. Stay updated with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks. Implement best practices to ensure seamless regulatory adherence.

4. Financial Controls & Risk Management



Establish strong internal controls, risk assessment frameworks, and compliance systems. Review and approve financial processes, SOPs, and internal audit mechanisms. Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.

5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management



Manage working capital, liquidity, and treasury operations. Oversee banking relationships, financial negotiations, and fund management. Ensure optimal utilization of funds and maintain healthy cash flow.

6. Business Partnering



Collaborate with leadership teams to support organizational goals. Provide financial guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities. Evaluate business performance and initiate corrective financial strategies.

7. Team Leadership



Lead, mentor, and guide the finance team. Develop training programs to upskill junior accountants and finance professionals. Allocate responsibilities and ensure timely completion of financial activities.

Qualifications



Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory 10-20+ years of experience in finance, accounts, taxation, and financial strategy Experience in leadership or senior managerial roles Strong understanding of Ind AS, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and GST Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally Prime, etc.)
