Job Description

Responsibilities:

Enter outpatient and inpatient service charges into the billing system. Check that the charges are correct and use the right CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes. Review patient records to ensure everything meets insurance requirements. Fix any errors in charge entries and match charges with services provided. Work closely with coders, doctors, and billing teams. Make sure all charges are posted correctly and quickly to avoid mistakes and payment delays.

Qualifications:

Graduate degree required

(medical billing/coding certification is a plus). 1-2 years of experience in charge entry or medical billing. Familiarity with medical billing codes and billing software. Great attention to detail and good communication skills.
