Job Description

Prepare and design on-screen graphics

such as name straps, tickers, lower thirds, logos, and breaking news animations.

Operate CG software

(like VizRT, Chyron, or Ross Xpression) during live news bulletins or recorded shows.

Coordinate with producers and directors

to ensure correct timing and placement of graphics.

Check spelling, accuracy, and formatting

of text and visuals before broadcast.

Update real-time data

such as scores, results, or election tallies during live coverage.

Ensure smooth integration

of CG elements with video feeds and other broadcast systems.

Maintain and organize graphic templates

for different shows or events.

Troubleshoot technical issues

related to CG systems before or during broadcasts.

Assist creative team

in designing promotional or branding graphics when needed.

Stay updated on new software and visual trends

to enhance broadcast quality.
