About client company: It is a first and reliable Financial Services business in Eastern India that houses two business verticals primarily, i.e. Broking and Wealth Managemnt . Under the pillar of Broking , they cover the range of Equities, Derivatives, and Currencies. Under the pillar of Distribution, they include portfolio management services (PMS), Insurance Products, IPOs, Mutual Funds, Fixed Deposits, Bonds and other financial products. It has its own Mutual Fund and Equity APP for thier clients .
The company initially focused on the core business of stockbroking . Later it diversified to other areas in the financial services sector such Distribution of mutual funds and PMS & AIF and Un listed products . It also provides Family Office and Advisory Services to investors. It operates across many parts of india.
Job Position:
Sales Manager(channel partner)
Location: Kolkata & Eastern India
Salary-As per industry standard(Fixed salary+additional incentive structure to be provided)
Key responsibilities include developing channel sales strategies, fostering strong partner relationships, providing enablement and support, analyzing performance metrics, and resolving channel conflicts. Essential skills involve strategic thinking, strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and proficiency in CRM and data analytics. Key Responsibilities
Partner Recruitment & Onboarding: Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new partners.
Sales Strategy & Program Development: Develop and execute channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, and create partner programs for training, marketing, and incentives.
Training & Enablement: Provide comprehensive training to partners on product knowledge, competitive advantages, and sales techniques.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track, measure, and report on partner sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase sales and revenue.
Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts and challenges within the channel to ensure smooth operation.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Proven track record in channel sales, partner management, or a related sales role.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen, ability to develop data-driven strategies, and understand sales processes.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions and comfortable with data analytics tools.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, work independently, and as part of a team.
Organizational Skills: Strong time management, organizational, and self-motivation skills.
Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is often required.
