Role Objective
The Channel Development Manager (CDM) is responsible for building and scaling a high-performing partner ecosystem (Resellers, Distributors, and System Integrators). You will act as the bridge between the company and our partners to drive indirect sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Recruitment: Identify and onboard new strategic partners in the region to expand market reach.
Enablement & Training: Conduct product training, sales workshops, and provide marketing collateral to ensure partners can sell effectively.
Joint Business Planning: Lead weekly/quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key partners to set targets, marketing plans, and incentives.
Conflict Resolution: Manage channel hygiene and resolve "lead-overlap" conflicts between direct sales and partner teams.
Performance Tracking: Monitor partner KPIs (pipeline health, certification levels, and deal registration) to ensure ROI.
Qualifications
4-6 years in Channel Sales or Business Development within the IT/Software industry.
Strong network within the regional reseller and distributor ecosystem in India.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
