The Change Manager will adhere to ITIL best practices, and the organizations change management policies. Key Responsibilities Change Management Process Ownership Maintain and improve the organizations changing management process based on ITIL best practices. This includes defining, documenting, and communicating the process. Change Planning Scheduling Collaborate with requestors to plan and schedule changes, considering impact, risk, and resource availability. Prioritize changes based on business needs and urgency. Change Assessment Risk Management Evaluate proposed changes for potential risks and impacts to services. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure changes are properly authorized before implementation. Change Implementation Control Oversee the implementation of approved changes, ensuring adherence to the change schedule and procedures. Coordinate with technical teams and other stakeholders. Change Communication Communicate change details to relevant stakeholders, including users, technical teams, and management. Provide timely updates on change, progress and any potential disruptions. Change Evaluation Closure Review implemented changes to ensure they met objectives and identify any lessons learned. Document the results of the change implementation and formally close the change record. Change Record Management Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all changes in the change management system.
