The Change Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating IT change requests to ensure minimal disruption to business operations. This role involves working closely with project teams, IT operations, and business stakeholders to assess, plan, implement, and review changes in a controlled and efficient manner.
Functional Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage all IT change requests in line with the organization's change management policies and procedures.
Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
Assess the impact, risk, and benefits of proposed changes and develop mitigation strategies.
Maintain the Change Management System (CMS) with accurate and up-to-date records.
Communicate change plans and schedules to relevant stakeholders.
Monitor the implementation of changes and report on progress, issues, and outcomes.
Ensure post-implementation reviews are conducted and lessons learned are documented.
Provide support and training to teams affected by changes.
Collaborate with IT service desk, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless change execution.
Qualification Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in IT change management, project coordination, or a similar role.
ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
Experience with change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
ITIL certification.
Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or equivalent

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
Process Orientation: Deep understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.

Interaction with Technology Leads, SLT, and LT, Information Security, Legal, Compliance, and external auditors, etc
