Handling Knowledge in preparation and filing of Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, and related documents / process through ICEGATE and ensure classification and other compliance of Customs, DGFT and Other Allied Acts.
Following EGM status of shipping bill on daily basis after completion of export customs clearance and coordinate with Vessel Operator / Liner / Forwarder and Customs to rectify the EGM error, if any.
Co-ordinate with Client and submit the required documents against query raised by Customs to release the Drawback amount.
Manage
Form 13 submission
and
EGM filing
through
ODEX
, including uploading relevant shipping documents.
Liaise with Clients, Customs, Shipping lines, Transporters, and Operation Teams in CFS for smooth customs clearance and issue resolution.
Maintain proper clearance records and prepare
daily/weekly MIS
reports which should be sent to concern persons on time.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a CHA firm or customs clearance role.
Thorough knowledge of
Customs Act and Other Allied Acts, Import-Export Policy,
and Export and Import customs clearance procedures.
Proficient in On-Line filing though ICEGATE,
ODEX
(especially for Form 13 and EGM), and
DGFT
portals.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage time-sensitive shipments under pressure.
