Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process CGHS bills in accordance with CGHS guidelines.
Coordinate with departments and doctors to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
Submit claims to CGHS authorities and track the status of reimbursements.
Reconcile payments received against billed claims.
Maintain records of all submitted and pending claims.
Address queries from CGHS and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and government regulations.
Liaise with internal departments (e.g., medical records, finance) for billing support.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in CGHS or insurance billing in a hospital.
Strong understanding of CGHS billing rules and procedures.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and billing software.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate in Commerce, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Experience with TPA and insurance billing will be an added advantage.
