Job Summary



We are seeking a skilled CFD and Structural Simulation Engineer to join our R&D team advancing next-generation aerospace systems. The candidate will contribute to simulation-driven engineering activities, including aerodynamic modeling, thermal and structural analysis, design validation, and performance optimization for critical flight and propulsion subsystems. This role requires strong expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), and multidisciplinary simulation tools to support high-fidelity design and mission reliability.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and execute CFD simulations to analyze aerodynamic flow, heat transfer, and propulsion interactions Perform structural simulations using FEA to evaluate stress, deformation, vibration, and thermal effects on aerospace components Conduct R&D calculations, multiphysics modeling, and performance assessments to support design optimization Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation insights into propulsion, flight, and structural subsystems Document simulation results, validation studies, technical reports, and engineering findings for ongoing R&D initiatives Benchmark simulation outcomes against published research and industry standards to ensure accuracy and innovation Support mission planning and system integration by providing predictive analysis under varied operational conditions Prepare detailed technical documentation, simulation reports, research papers, and CAD integrated analysis summaries Contribute to the development of advanced simulation frameworks for future aerospace systems and mission requirements Stay updated on emerging tools, methodologies, and trends in CFD, FEA, and aerospace simulation technologies

Required Qualifications & Skills



1-2 years of experience in CFD, FEA, or simulation-based R&D for aerospace or mechanical systems B.E. / B.Tech in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline Strong foundation in fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, heat & mass transfer, and structural mechanics Proficiency in simulation tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL, OpenFOAM, or similar platforms o Knowledge of propulsion systems, flight dynamics, and structural behavior under thermal and mechanical loads Internship or project experience with defense, aerospace, or research organizations (e.g., DRDO, HAL, ISRO, or aerospace firms) is highly valued Hands-on experience in validating simulation models with experimental data or test results is preferred Exposure to advanced simulation topics such as multiphysics coupling, fatigue analysis, or aeroelasticity Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams Knowing of opensouce software is Plus.
