Job Designation: IP DRG Medical CoderExperience: min 1 yrSalary: 30% hikeJob Location: Chennai Timings: Day Shift Week Off: Saturday & Sunday Fixed OffCertification: Must have the CCS or CIC certification is preferredQualifications: CCS or CIC certification is preferredMinimum of two years of inpatient DRG coding experienceMinimum Graduation in Life Science or medical sciencesJob description: * Responsible for assigning diagnostic and procedural codes to patient charts using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS coding classification system in accordance with coding rules and regulationsAbstract required clinical information* Have thorough knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, pharmacology, Medicare's Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS), Official Coding Guidelines for ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS, and documentation requirements for correct and accurate coding* Maintain standard industry productivity rates for Inpatient coding (2.5 to 3 charts/hour)* Demonstrate ability to maintain high-quality standards of 95% or greater* Proficient in utilizing technology (Encoder, CAC, MS Office, EMRs) to perform responsibilities* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Experience with trauma cases and highly complex cases, orthopedic, and cardiology preferredRole: Medical Biller / CoderIndustry Type: BPO / KPO Call CentreFunctional Area: Healthcare & Life SciencesEmployment Type: Full Time, PermanentJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From ?30,000.00 per monthJadwal:
