Position Summary

Level:

Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Work you'll do:

Lead discussions with business and functional analysts to understand requirements and assess integration impacts on business architecture. Prepare technical architecture and design, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguities. Develop solutions in line with established technical designs, integration standards, and quality processes. Create and enforce technical design and development guides, templates, and standards. Facilitate daily scrum meetings, manage deliverables, and prepare weekly status reports for leadership review. Conduct detailed deliverable reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Collaborate with onsite clients, coordinators, analysts, and cross-functional teams. Design templates or scripts to automate routine development or operational tasks.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

6 - 10 years of hands-on experience in Cerner Millenium suite Experience and/or certification in CPOE, CCP Reporting, Pharmacy, FSI - HL7, Patient Portal, HIM, FirstNet/Tracking board (Emergency Department), Powerchart Ambulatory Experience of leading a team with 10 members or more Deep understanding of application support and enhancement lifecycle, managing service levels, metrics and status reporting Lead problem management to reduce recurring incidents and identify improvement opportunities Develops solutions for client problems through application of personal experience and standard methods and tools; validates solutions with subject matter experts Ability to perform system build and configuration in any EMR. Strong US healthcare knowledge across clinical, ancillary and revenue cycle processes Experience in Agile, waterfall and related tools Ability to identify team members and quickly ramping up teams for small to medium sized projects Ability to develop and maintain documentation of business processes /system enhancements Excellent communication (written/verbal), problem solving, analytical including effective interpersonal skills Ability to perform estimation of work products Proactive drive on improvement and innovation ideas Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

Excellent documentation skills such as - Application understanding, change management etc. Ability to follow engagement specific project delivery processes Experience working on agile development teams (ideally leveraging Scrum or Kanban) Understanding of interface engines

Education:

BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc. (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university MHA/B.E./B.Tech./MCA/MSc/M.Tech. /MBA or any medical background

Prior Experience:

6 - 10 years of work experience Cerner Millenium. Certified in any Cerner module (CPOE, CCP Reporting, Pharmacy, FSI - HL7, Patient Portal, HIM, FirstNet/Tracking board (Emergency Department), Powerchart Ambulatory)

Location:

Bengaluru/Hyderabad

Shift Timings:

2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements
