Job Summary
CTG is seeking Cerner Surgery Support Analysts who are responsible for the support, configuration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Cerner Surgical Services solutions, with a primary focus on SurgiNet and Anesthesia. This role partners closely with perioperative leadership, surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and clinical stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant perioperative workflows within a healthcare IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day application support for Cerner SurgiNet and Anesthesia modules
Analyze, configure, test, and implement system enhancements, upgrades, and break/fix solutions
Support perioperative workflows including scheduling, pre-op, intra-op, post-op, and anesthesia documentation
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to translate business and clinical requirements into system solutions
Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal IT teams
Participate in system testing, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, build specifications, and training materials
Provide go-live and post-go-live support for surgical and anesthesia implementations
Ensure system configurations align with regulatory, patient safety, and clinical best-practice standards
Assist with reporting, data validation, and perioperative metrics as needed
Participate in on-call or after-hours support rotations as required
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Clinical discipline, or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience supporting Cerner SurgiNet and Anesthesia modules
Experience working in a perioperative or surgical services healthcare IT environment
Strong understanding of surgical and anesthesia clinical workflows
Ability to analyze complex problems and communicate solutions clearly to clinical and technical audiences
Experience with change management, testing methodologies, and incident management processes
Preferred Qualifications
Cerner certification in SurgiNet and/or Anesthesia
Clinical background (RN, Surgical Tech, Anesthesia Tech, or related role)
Experience supporting integrated workflows with Scheduling, Rev Cycle, or Clinical Documentation
Experience with system upgrades, domain migrations, or multi-facility implementations
Familiarity with ITIL, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing systems
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement abilities
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Collaborative, customer-focused mindset
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $160,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
