We are looking for experienced engineer with hands on experience in Ceph storage solution. This role is dedicated to our Professional Services team. You will be responsible for close cooperation with our Client based in Bengaluru. Qualifications Responsibilities: Assess and troubleshoot the current Ceph infrastructure of the customer; Repair defects discovered in the Ceph environment; Help with planning and mitigation of discovered architectural deficiencies in the Ceph environment Continuously propose and implement solutions for infrastructure improvements; Perform technical demo and knowledge sharing sessions with customer; Work with geographically distributed international teams on technical challenges and process improvements; Contribute to Mirantis DevOps knowledge base; Continuously improve tooling and technologies set; Participate in issues troubleshooting and investigation on different environments. Qualifications 5+ years of practical administration experience in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) as a server platform Required experience with Linux OS itself as well as with production level software and hardware 4+ years of practical administration and operation experience with Ceph software defined storage Solid knowledge of Ceph internals Solid knowledge of Linux OS, storage and networking Understanding of block, object, and file storage IT automation experience Practical experience Bash programming English language on an intermediate level or above; Very good customer-facing communication skills.
