We are looking for a dynamic and strategic
COO or CEO
, based in Mumbai, to lead the company into its next era -- scaling operations, driving profitability, enhancing guest experiences, and building a world-class hospitality team.
Role Summary:
The COO/CEO will be responsible for overseeing the strategic, financial, and operational direction of the business across all verticals -- from standalone restaurants and delivery kitchens to franchise and expansion models. This leader will work closely with the Board to shape the future of the brand in India and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth & Leadership
Drive long-term strategic planning aligned with the company's vision.
Identify and lead market expansion, new formats (cloud kitchens, premium casual, quick service), and international growth opportunities.
Collaborate with the founders and board on capital raising, investor relations, and new business ventures.
Operational Excellence
Manage day-to-day operations across all restaurant locations (owned and franchised).
Standardize operational SOPs across FOH, BOH, procurement, and service delivery.
Oversee quality control, hygiene standards (FSSAI), and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
Financial Oversight
Take full P&L ownership across multiple units.
Drive cost efficiencies without compromising on guest experience.
Work closely with the CFO to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
Brand, Marketing & Guest Experience
Champion the brand's positioning, voice, and overall guest promise.
Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, influencer partnerships, social media strategy, and loyalty programs.
People & Culture
Build and lead a high-performing leadership team across operations, HR, culinary, and marketing.
Develop strong L&D initiatives for on-ground staff, chefs, and restaurant managers.
Foster a performance-driven, inclusive, and hospitality-first culture.
Technology & Innovation
Implement restaurant tech solutions (POS, CRM, ERP, delivery integration).
Leverage data analytics for decision-making in pricing, menu engineering, and customer engagement.
Lead digital transformation projects, including cloud kitchens or app-based loyalty platforms.
Qualifications & Experience:
15+ years of senior leadership experience in hospitality, QSR, fine dining, or multi-unit F&B operations.
At least 5 years in a C-suite or senior operational leadership role in a high-growth environment.
Deep understanding of the Indian F&B market, customer preferences, supply chain, and regulatory frameworks (FSSAI, labor laws, etc.).
Experience with franchising, investment-backed expansion, or brand turnaround strategies preferred.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
