Koita Foundation is committed to helping NGOs scale effectively and accelerating digital health adoption in India. Over the past five years, Koita Foundation has worked closely with over a dozen NGOs across the education, healthcare, and livelihood segments to help them digitally transform their operations. As part of its Digital Health initiative, Koita Foundation partners with leading academic institutions, hospitals, healthcare technology companies, and NGOs to drive digital health adoption in India.

Role Overview




As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the

Koita Centre for Digital Maternal & Child Care (KDMC)

, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic vision of FOGSI's Digital Health Initiative. The CEO will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the Centre's activities, with a focus on advancing digital health adoption to improve maternal, newborn, and reproductive healthcare across India. You will work closely with FOGSI leadership, members, partners, and external stakeholders to ensure impactful outcomes.


Key areas of focus of KDMC include:




Quality:

Leverage digital technology to improve treatment workflows and patient experience e.g., clinical quality measures, guideline adherence, patient engagement, AI/ML

Affordability:

Identify areas for cost reduction using digital health technology, data sharing, etc., to make care more affordable e.g., cost of care benchmarking

Access:

Leverage digital technology to improve access to high-quality care esp. in non-urban / rural areas e.g., telemedicine

Productivity:

Leverage digital tools & automation to improve the clinical & administrative workflows, reducing manual and redundant activities

Best Practices:

Identify and share best practices in digital technology across the world

Training / Capacity Building:

Develop selective program to groom OB-GYNs into digital health leaders through mentorship, projects, and exposure.

Research & Development:

Partner with Healthcare Startups, pharma/ healthcare companies, and other organizations to drive R&D, and to help monetize research in FOGSI

Responsibilities of the CEO




Provide visionary leadership to define and execute the strategic roadmap of the FOGSI Digital Health Centre in alignment with FOGSI's mission and priorities. Develop and implement strategic plans, programs, and partnerships to accelerate digital health adoption among FOGSI's 45,000+ members and affiliated institutions. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team to execute the Centre's initiatives and drive measurable impact. Forge collaborations with digital health companies, healthcare providers, government agencies, and academic institutions to expand innovation and adoption. Drive program design and implementation across areas such as EMRs/HIS, telemedicine, maternal-child health solutions, clinical decision support, and data analytics. Ensure the quality, scalability, and sustainability of digital health programs and tools supported by FOGSI. Establish strong monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track outcomes and assess impact. Advocate for digital health adoption within the OBGYN community through awareness, training, and capacity-building programs. Manage the financial health of the Centre, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Lead fundraising efforts to support large-scale strategic projects and ensure the Centre's long- term sustainability.

Desired Profile




Senior healthcare leader with a minimum of

15 years

of overall experience, including at least 5 years in Digital Health, healthcare management, or related areas. Advanced degree in healthcare management, public health, business administration, or a related field desirable. Proven leadership experience in a senior management role, preferably in healthcare, digital health, or healthcare consulting. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development. Strong understanding of digital health technologies, healthcare delivery systems, and the maternal & newborn care ecosystem in India. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and clinicians Financial acumen and prior experience in budgeting, fundraising, and managing large-scale programs.
