Position Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Reports To: Board of Directors / Promoter
Location: Head Office (with travel to store locations, supply chain hubs, and farms)

Role Purpose
To lead and scale a mission-driven modern organic retail business by providing strategic
direction, operational leadership, and business excellence. The CEO will be responsible for
profitably growing the brand's footprint across physical retail, e-commerce, and omnichannel
platforms while maintaining its core values of sustainability, health, and ethical sourcing. The
role requires a deep understanding of retail dynamics, consumer behavior, supply chain of
organic products, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
Define and drive the long-term vision, strategy, and business roadmap.
Identify expansion opportunities across urban markets via new stores, digital
platforms, and partner channels.
Oversee business planning, budgeting, and execution aligned to revenue and
profitability goals.
2. Retail Operations & Customer Experience
Ensure operational excellence across all stores with a focus on product quality, in
store experience, and brand ethos.
Build a high-performance retail and supply chain team focused on execution and
innovation.
Monitor store performance metrics including footfall, conversion, AOV, and NPS.
3. Product, Brand & Marketing Strategy
Collaborate with product and sourcing teams to curate and scale authentic, traceable
organic offerings.
Guide marketing teams on brand positioning, customer acquisition, and loyalty
programs.
Drive community engagement and thought leadership in the organic and sustainable
living space.
4. Digital & Omnichannel Development
Accelerate e-commerce and D2C strategy across web, app, and marketplaces.
Ensure a seamless customer experience across physical and digital touchpoints.
Leverage technology for CRM, personalization, and operational automation.
5. Supply Chain & Vendor Management
Oversee end-to-end supply chain from farm to shelf to ensure freshness,
transparency, and sustainability.
Build strong farmer/vendor networks and long-term partnerships with ethical
suppliers.
Implement traceability systems and quality assurance protocols.
6. Financial Management & Governance
Own the P&L, capital allocation, cost optimization, and fundraising efforts (if
required).
Report regularly to the Board with performance insights, risks, and strategic updates.
Ensure legal, regulatory, and ESG compliance across all operations.
7. Leadership & Culture
Build a purpose-driven, agile, and customer-centric organizational culture.
Attract, retain, and mentor a senior leadership team with cross-functional excellence.
Champion diversity, sustainability, and employee well-being as core cultural pillars.

Ideal Profile
Postgraduate in Business Management / Retail / Strategy from a reputed institute
15-20 years of experience with at least 5 years in P&L leadership roles in
retail/FMCG/organic/consumer businesses
Proven track record of scaling retail operations (brick-and-mortar and digital)
Passion for health, sustainability, and ethical consumerism
Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial mindset, and stakeholder management skills
