The Centre Head is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and overall management of the preschool center. This includes academic leadership, staff supervision, parent engagement, admissions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for early childhood education.
Ensure implementation of the curriculum and teaching methodologies in alignment with school philosophy.
Monitor lesson planning, classroom activities, and learning outcomes.
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers.
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Centre Operations:
Oversee daily functioning of the center, including infrastructure, hygiene, safety, and supplies.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and licensing requirements.
Coordinate and manage school events, celebrations, and extracurricular activities.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate teaching and support staff.
Conduct regular staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Foster a positive work culture and resolve any team conflicts.
Parent Communication & Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians.
Address parent concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Organize parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and orientation sessions.
Build strong relationships with families to enhance trust and satisfaction.
Admissions & Marketing:
Drive student admissions through center tours, events, and community engagement.
Maintain records and manage inquiries and follow-ups.
Support marketing efforts, including local outreach and social media presence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Management, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in a preschool or early childhood setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of child development principles and early learning best practices.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, email, etc.).
Preferred:
Certification in Montessori, ECCE, or any recognized Early Childhood program.
Working Conditions:
Monday to Saturday (timings based on school schedule)
Occasional weekend or after-hours work for events
