Job Description

1. Role Overview



The Centre In charge is responsible for overall management, operations, administration, and performance of the skill development centre. This includes mobilization, training delivery, placement outcomes, centre compliance, budgeting, reporting, stakeholder management, and ensuring high-quality training experiences for beneficiaries.

2. Key Responsibilities



A. Centre Operations & Administration



Manage day-to-day functioning of the centre, ensuring smooth training operations. Oversee infrastructure, training labs, IT equipment, and learning environment. Maintain discipline, safety, hygiene, and operational standards. Ensure adherence to project guidelines, SOPs, documentation, and compliance.

B. Team Management



Supervise trainers, mobilizers, placement officers, and support staff. Conduct daily team meetings, work allocation, and performance monitoring. Provide guidance, mentoring, and support for meeting centre targets. Ensure staff attendance, leave management, and professional behaviour.

C. Mobilization & Batch Formation



Support and guide the mobilization team to achieve enrolment targets. Plan outreach activities in communities, schools, and partner organisations. Ensure timely batch formation as per project timelines. Monitor lead generation, counselling quality, and conversion rates.

D. Training Quality & Delivery



Ensure high-quality delivery of all training modules (soft skills, domain skills, digital skills, etc.). Review session plans, training reports, and trainee feedback. Conduct class audits and monitor trainer performance. Ensure timely assessments, evaluations, and certification processes.

E. Placement & Career Support



Drive placement outcomes by coordinating with placement team and employers. Build partnerships with companies, HR managers, and local industry networks. Monitor student interview readiness, soft skills grooming, and career counselling. Track placement data and post-placement retention.

F. Documentation & Reporting



Maintain attendance, MIS, training records, placement reports, and centre registers. Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to management. Ensure proper documentation for audits, funder visits, and compliance reviews.

G. Stakeholder & Community Engagement



Coordinate with NGO partners, CSR funders, employers, and local institutions. Organise guest lectures, job fairs, exposure visits, and community events. Represent the centre in review meetings and field visits.

3. Required Qualifications & Experience



Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (Management, Social Work, Education preferred). 3-6 years of experience in training centres, skilling projects, NGO programs, or education institutions. Experience in Livelihoods / Skill Development (Skill India, CSR, PMKVY, DDU-GKY) is an advantage. Strong team management, communication, and operations skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
