end-to-end implementation and management of the Lighthouse Program
at the assigned center. This role requires a passionate and driven leader with strong program management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills, committed to empowering underprivileged youth through skilling and livelihood opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation & Operations
Lead the coordination and execution of the Lighthouse Program at the center.
Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the center, including operations, administration, and workplace culture.
Oversee asset management and administrative activities of the center.
Placements & Youth Outcomes
Ensure sustainability of youth placements by coordinating daily interview line-ups and placement readiness activities.
Review resumes, facilitate mock interviews, and organize industry expert sessions.
Identify opportunities within the local economy and coordinate with the Placement Manager for new job opportunities.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
Manage monthly planning, team timesheets, and task allocation.
Mentor team members, conduct quarterly performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
Support professional development and career growth of team members.
Maintain low attrition levels and continuously improve team productivity.
Identify skill gaps and work with the Cluster Head and HR to address them.
Technology, Data & Reporting
Ensure effective deployment and adoption of Lighthouse technology platforms.
Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance, including monthly reports.
Drive adoption of the Youth Connect Portal at the Lighthouse Connect Centre.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including local corporators, community leaders, MLA offices, corporate partners, skilling partners, placement agencies, program partners, volunteers, and donors.
Represent the organization effectively at meetings, events, and public forums.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
MSW or Postgraduate degree in any discipline.
4-8 years of experience in program implementation, preferably in skilling, livelihood, or youth development sectors.
Prior experience managing training or skilling centers.
Proven experience in people management, including leading teams of 4-7 members.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior government, donor, and private sector officials.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in
English, Hindi, and Marathi
.
Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
