Job Description

The Centre Head is responsible for leading, managing, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the Sunshine School Pre-School Centre. This role demands a dynamic, child-focused, and result-oriented leader who can manage academics, administration, parent engagement, and staff development to uphold Sunshine School's vision of holistic early childhood education.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership



Ensure effective implementation of Sunshine School's pre-school curriculum and pedagogy. Monitor teaching quality, lesson planning, and classroom activities. Drive innovation in early childhood learning through play-based and activity-oriented methods. Organize events, celebrations, and child development programs.

Centre Administration



Oversee day-to-day operations of the pre-school centre. Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards. Maintain records related to admissions, attendance, and child progress. Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and facility upkeep.

Team Management



Recruit, train, and mentor teachers and support staff. Build a motivated and high-performing team aligned with the school's values. Conduct regular staff meetings, training workshops, and performance reviews.

Parent & Community Engagement



Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication and feedback sessions. Address concerns with empathy and professionalism. Conduct parent orientation programs, workshops, and open houses. Promote Sunshine School's values within the community to strengthen enrolments.

Business Development & Marketing



Support in achieving admissions targets and centre growth. Implement local marketing initiatives to promote the pre-school. Represent the centre at community events, fairs, and parent forums.

Desired Candidate Profile



Graduate / Postgraduate in Early Childhood Education / Education Management (preferred). 5-8 years of experience in pre-school / early years education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Passionate about child-centric learning and development. Ability to balance academics with administration and admissions. Proficiency in MS Office and digital communication tools.
