Role Overview

The Center Head is the

business and academic leader

of the preschool. This role owns the

P&L

, drives

admissions and revenue

, builds and leads the

teaching team

, and ensures

flawless curriculum execution

.

Key Responsibilities1. P&L Ownership

Own center-level

revenue, costs, and profitability

Drive admissions targets and fee collections Plan and execute strategies to improve margins and occupancy

2. Sales, Marketing & Admissions

Own

end-to-end admissions funnel

: leads ? walk-ins ? conversions Drive local marketing initiatives (online & offline) Generate leads through partnerships, referrals, events & outreach Personally handle high-value parent counselling and closures Track daily/weekly conversion metrics and take corrective action

3. Team Hiring & Leadership

Hire, onboard, and retain

teachers and academic staff

Build a high-performance, accountable teaching culture Conduct regular reviews, feedback sessions, and capability building

4. Teacher Training & Development

Ensure all teachers are trained on curriculum, pedagogy & classroom delivery Conduct ongoing classroom observations and coaching Identify training gaps and drive continuous improvement

5. Curriculum Implementation & Academic Quality

Ensure

100% curriculum implementation

as per Sporty Tots standards Maintain consistency in lesson planning, assessments, and child outcomes Ensure strong parent communication on academic progress Own academic audits and quality benchmarks

What This Role Does NOT Include

? Day-to-day center operations
? Pantry, transport, housekeeping, or vendor management

(Operations are handled by a separate team.)

Candidate Profile

Proven experience leading a

preschool / school / education center

Strong

sales mindset

with comfort in targets and numbers Excellent parent interaction and counselling skills Experience in hiring, training, and managing teachers Ability to balance

business outcomes with academic quality

High ownership, high accountability--no hand-holding required
