Duties

Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, including line cooks and food prep personnel, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste through proper food handling and storage practices.
Assist in menu planning for large-scale events, collaborating with catering managers to meet client specifications and dietary requirements.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
Support the dietary department by preparing specialized meals for guests with specific dietary needs or restrictions.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area during shifts, including equipment sanitation and workstation organization.
Participate in shift management by coordinating tasks among team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
