: Center Manager - Preschool
Position Summary:
The Center Manager of a preschool is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staff management, enrollment, and overall performance of the center. This role ensures a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for children while meeting business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee the daily functioning of the preschool, ensuring smooth operations.
Maintain compliance with state licensing, safety, and health regulations.
Implement and enforce school policies and procedures.
Academic & Curriculum Supervision:
Ensure the curriculum is implemented effectively.
Monitor classroom activities and provide guidance to teachers.
Support teachers in planning engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
Staff Management & Development:
Recruit, train, and supervise teachers and support staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for professional growth.
Maintain staff morale and encourage teamwork.
Parent Engagement & Communication:
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and families.
Address parent concerns, feedback, and inquiries professionally.
Organize parent-teacher meetings and events.
Enrollment & Business Growth:
Promote the preschool and drive admissions through marketing efforts.
Conduct tours and meetings with prospective parents.
Monitor financial performance and budget adherence.
Health, Safety, & Facility Management:
Ensure a clean, safe, and child-friendly environment.
Implement emergency preparedness and safety protocols.
Coordinate maintenance and facility improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in preschool management or administration.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and licensing regulations.
Ability to handle parent inquiries and concerns professionally.
Proficiency in basic administrative and financial management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Early Childhood Education (if applicable).
Experience in marketing and business development for preschools.
