Center Manager – Gym / Fitness Industry

Job Description

The Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the gym, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, maintaining facility standards, and managing staff performance. This role requires strong leadership, sales orientation, and a passion for health and fitness.

Key Responsibilities 1. Operations Management



Ensure smooth daily functioning of the fitness center. Oversee cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and safety standards. Manage inventory of supplies and coordinate repairs with vendors. Implement company policies, SOPs, and compliance requirements.

2. Sales & Revenue Generation



Achieve monthly membership and revenue targets. Drive sales through lead management, walk-ins, referrals, and retention strategies. Monitor KPIs such as conversion rate, renewals, and member engagement. Execute local marketing and promotional activities.

3. Customer Service



Maintain high levels of member satisfaction and resolve escalations. Conduct regular feedback sessions and implement service improvements. Ensure trainers and front-desk staff provide exceptional service.

4. Team Leadership



Supervise staff, including trainers, front desk, and housekeeping. Conduct performance reviews and schedule work shifts. Motivate the team to meet sales and service goals.

5. Financial & Administrative Tasks



Track daily sales, petty cash, and expenses, and prepare MIS reports. Monitor membership data, attendance, and billing processes. Ensure compliance with financial procedures and documentation.

Skills & Qualifications Essential Skills

Preferred Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in business, sports management, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in gym/fitness center management or the retail/service industry. Understanding of fitness equipment and gym operations. Proficiency in CRM or gym management software.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

gym and bank manager: 4 years (Preferred)
