Job Summary:
The DDU-GKY Center Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and smooth functioning of the DDU-GKY training center. This role ensures effective implementation of skill training programs in line with DDU-GKY guidelines, quality standards, timelines, and placement targets.
Key Responsibilities:Center Operations:
Manage day-to-day operations of the DDU-GKY training center.
Ensure compliance with DDU-GKY, MoRD, and State Mission guidelines.
Maintain infrastructure, equipment, and training facilities as per norms.
Ensure proper attendance, discipline, and safety of trainees.
Training & Academic Management:
Coordinate with trainers to ensure effective delivery of training programs.
Monitor training quality, curriculum coverage, assessments, and certifications.
Ensure timely batch mobilization, induction, and completion.
Address trainee grievances and provide counseling support when required.
Staff Management:
Supervise trainers, mobilizers, counselors, and support staff.
Assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure team productivity.
Organize regular staff meetings and training reviews.
Mobilization & Community Engagement:
Support mobilization activities in rural areas.
Coordinate with Panchayats, community leaders, and local stakeholders.
Ensure proper documentation of mobilization and enrollment processes.
Placement & Post-Placement Support:
Coordinate with placement team to achieve placement targets.
Maintain employer relationships and support placement drives.
Track post-placement retention and follow-up as per DDU-GKY norms.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records: attendance, assessments, placements, and certifications.
Prepare and submit periodic reports to Project/State authorities.
Ensure data entry and updates in MIS portals.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure audit readiness and compliance with inspections.
Implement corrective actions based on audits and feedback.
Maintain transparency and accountability in center operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Management, Social Work, Education, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in skill development, training center management, or government projects.
Prior experience with DDU-GKY or similar schemes preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Good knowledge of DDU-GKY guidelines and MIS systems.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.

Successful batch completion rates.
Placement and retention performance.
Compliance and audit scores.
Trainee satisfaction and center efficiency.
