The Preschool In-Charge is responsible for providing strong educational leadership and ensuring the effective internal organization, management, development, and overall success of the preschool. The role involves overseeing admissions, driving business growth, ensuring high academic standards, and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities & KRAs1. Business Development & Admissions
Design and implement marketing plans to generate admission leads.
Handle enquiries, conduct admission counseling, and ensure successful conversions.
Develop and execute strategies to support business growth for the preschool.
2. Leadership & Administration
Ensure adherence to institutional policies and oversee their effective implementation.
Participate in the recruitment, selection, and appointment of teaching and non-teaching staff.
Assign roles and responsibilities to staff and assist in their KRA (Key Result Areas) formulation.
Manage time effectively to ensure smooth execution of the preschool calendar.
Maintain accurate records and documentation as per organizational standards.
3. Academic Oversight
Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning standards to ensure academic excellence.
Conduct weekly staff review meetings to assess progress and address academic needs.
Undertake teacher training and professional development initiatives.
Conduct lesson observations, ensuring proper curriculum planning and delivery.
Supervise and participate in performance appraisals of all teaching staff.
Ensure systematic monitoring and recording of student progress.
4. Parent & Community Engagement
Organize open-house sessions, parent meetings, events, and school activities.
Build strong parent relationships to foster a collaborative school environment.
5. Student Supervision & Well-being
Ensure safety and general supervision of students at all times within the premises.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and enriching school environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field with demonstrated professional and supervisory experience.
Minimum
3 years of experience
as a Pre-Primary In-Charge.
Prior experience as a classroom teacher and/or head teacher.
Proven experience in designing or implementing preschool curriculum.
Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in early childhood education.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
