Job Description

Role Overview:



The Head of Learning / Center Head at Techmindz will serve as the overall leader of the center, overseeing and driving performance across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Placements. This role requires a visionary leader with strong decision-making skills and proven ability to manage multiple functions. All departmental leads will report directly to this position.

The ideal candidate must have mandatory experience in the EdTech learning industry (minimum 5 years), with a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams, delivering results, and scaling growth in the education/learning sector.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Leadership & Strategy

Lead the center with full ownership of business and academic outcomes.

Develop and implement strategies to achieve enrollment, placement, and revenue goals.

Drive decision-making across departments and ensure alignment with organizational vision.

2. Functional Oversight

Sales - admissions targets, revenue growth.

Marketing - branding, lead generation, digital campaigns.

Operations - infrastructure, batch handling, process efficiency.

Placements - corporate tie-ups, student employability, placement success.

Ensure smooth coordination and collaboration among all functions.

3. Business & Student Success

Own P&L responsibility of the center along with growth metrics.

Ensure high standards in student learning, engagement, and placement outcomes.

Drive innovation in training delivery, learning methods, and career development support.

4. Stakeholder & External Relations

Act as the central point of accountability for management, staff, trainers, students, and external partners.

Build and strengthen industry relationships for placements, partnerships, and collaborations.

Key Skills & Competencies:



Strong leadership and people management skills.

Mandatory experience in the EdTech learning industry (4-5 years minimum).

Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and functional heads.

Business acumen with knowledge of sales, marketing, operations, and placements.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:



Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education Management, HR, or related field.

Minimum 8 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in the EdTech industry.

Prior experience in leading a learning/training center or EdTech business unit is highly desirable.
