The Centre Head will lead the planning, implementation, and management of a Training Centre. This role involves coordinating skill development, entrepreneurship promotion, digital inclusion, and livelihood programs to drive holistic rural growth.
The Head acts as the nodal officer and operational anchor for all activities within the Center, ensuring collaboration with government bodies, training partners, local entrepreneurs, and community-based organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Implementation & Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth delivery of services related to skill development, digital education, health, and financial inclusion.
Plan and execute annual and monthly targets for outreach, training, and community engagement.
Coordinate with Panchayat and district administration for integration with local schemes.
Ensure compliance with program guidelines, reporting formats, and fund utilization norms.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with government departments, Sector Skill Councils, NGOs, and private partners to align Kendra activities with broader developmental goals.
Facilitate partnerships for employment, entrepreneurship support, and market linkages for rural youth.
Represent in district and state-level review meetings and forums.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Maintain MIS (Management Information System) and ensure timely submission of reports and data to the headquarters.
Track beneficiary progress, outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct regular assessments to measure the social and economic impact of the center activities.
Community Mobilization:
Conduct awareness and mobilization campaigns for skill programs, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Engage Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and youth clubs in program activities.
Promote the use of digital and sustainable technologies within the community.
Revenue Generation & Sustainability
The Center Head will also be responsible for ensuring the financial sustainability and long-term impact of the Kendra by driving innovative and locally relevant revenue generation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include:
Develop and execute revenue-generating strategies aligned with the objectives.
Identify and promote fee-based services such as training programs, digital literacy courses, consultancy, and agri-business services.
Forge partnerships with corporates, CSR foundations, and government bodies for sponsored projects and funding support.
Introduce micro-enterprise initiatives that can generate sustainable income streams for the Kendra.
Maintain transparent financial records and ensure proper utilization of generated revenue as per organizational norms.
Track and analyze financial performance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and positive ROI for all center operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Graduate in Social Work / Rural Development / Management / Engineering / Agriculture. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in rural development, livelihood, CSR, or government skill development projects. Experience managing multi-stakeholder programs at block/district level is desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office, MIS reporting, and digital tools for monitoring and evaluation. Knowledge of government portals (e.g., PMKVY, DDU-GKY, NRLM) is an advantage.
Language Skills:
Fluency in local language and English/Telugu/ Hindi required.
Other Skills:
Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and community engagement abilities. Strong administrative and financial management skills.
