We are looking to hire a dedicated and experienced
Centre Director
to oversee the day-to-day activities of our childcare centre and ensure that local, state, and federal childcare requirements are met.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
? Provide strong leadership to a team of teachers and support staff.
? Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
? Set and communicate clear expectations for staff performance.
? Supervise and support staff in their professional development.
Curriculum and Educational Programs:
? Oversee the development and implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
? Ensure that all educational programs align with relevant early childhood education standards.
? Monitor and assess the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary improvements.
Operations Management:
? Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, enrolment, and parent communication.? Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized preschool environment.? Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Financial Management:
? Develop and manage the centre's budget.
? Monitor expenses, revenue, and financial performance.
? Seek opportunities to increase enrollment and revenue.

Parent and Community Engagement:
? Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families.
? Foster community partnerships and outreach efforts to enhance the centre's reputation.

Staff Development:
? Recruit, hire, and train teaching and support staff.
? Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
? Develop professional growth plans for staff members.

Reporting and Documentation:
? Maintain accurate records and documentation related to enrolment, attendance, and curriculum.
? Prepare reports for the board and stakeholders as required
Required Candidate profile:
2+ years' experience working with children in a classroom setting.
Basic computer skills, including Internet, email, hand-held device skills, word processing, and
spreadsheets.
