Job Summary:



The Chef de Partie

- Chinese Cuisine is responsible for managing a specific section of the Chinese kitchen and ensuring that all dishes from that section are prepared according to the restaurant's quality standards. This role requires a solid foundation in traditional Chinese cooking techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:



Responsible for the daily food preparation and cooking in the assigned section (e.g., hot kitchen, cold kitchen, dim sum, BBQ, noodle, wok). Prepare all dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Ensure all ingredients are properly prepared, stored, and used efficiently to minimize waste. Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and appearance at all times. Follow strict hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with hotel/restaurant policies. Assist the Sous Chef and Chinese Head Chef in developing new dishes and menu improvements. Supervise, train, and support junior cooks and apprentices within the section.
