Role Summary:
The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard. The CDP will supervise junior staff, maintain quality control, and support the Sous Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section.
Maintain quality, portion, and presentation standards.
Supervise Commis and Demi Chefs within your section.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
Assist in stock control and inventory management.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of professional kitchen experience.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and section management.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
Excellent teamwork and time management skills.
