Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate CDP / DCDP with strong knowledge of Kerala cuisine to join our hotel team (Hot Kitchen). The candidate will be responsible for preparing traditional Kerala dishes while maintaining quality, hygiene, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare and present authentic Kerala cuisine

Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation

Assist in introduction of new Kerala dishes when required

Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety

Proper storage, labelling, and stock rotation of raw materials

Coordinate with other kitchen sections for smooth operations

Control food wastage and follow cost-control measures

Should be good in breads also (Appam, Porotta etc. )

Requirements



Proven experience as CDP or DCDP in a hotel or restaurant

Strong knowledge of traditional Kerala cuisine and cooking techniques

Ability to work under pressure and during busy service hours

Good team player with positive attitude

Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards

Willingness to work flexible shifts

Experience



Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in Kerala cuisine
